The production capacity of grinder mill is the prime concern question for user.

Generally speaking, the production capacity refers to grinder capacity and drying capacity of grinder mill. The material grind ability will affect the grinder capacity, the roller pressure and the type of grinder mill. The production capacity and the pressure area of raw material are relevant to the size of roller. The raw material quantity that be grinded by roller is in direct proportion to the length of roller B, the thickness of the bed of material H and the line speed of grinder pan V. The width of roller B and the thickness of the bed of material H are directly proportional with the diameter of roller D within limits. And, the line speed V and D0.5 are directly proportional, so we can come to a conclusion a formula of grinder capacity:

G=K1D2.5 (G refers to the grinder capacity of roller mill, T/H, D refers to the diameter M, K1 is coefficient, which is relevant to the typer of vertical roller mill, the selected and used pressure, the performance of grinded material. Different specification of roller mill, so the K1 is different. (The specifications of the roller mills are different, so is the K1).

Usually, the K1 of LM series roller mill is 9.6, D is the outside diameter of grinder pan, and the K1 of MPS type roller mill is selected 6.6, D is selected the medium diameter. So the diameter of grinder pan is 3.8m according to the production capacity per hour as request.

Here, : G=9.6×3.82.5=270.2 t/h, the production capacity per hour can meet the demand. The production capacity of grinder mill is formulated 265TPH which is in a safe range and conservative.

2.1.2 Drying Capacity: Gd=KdD2.5

Gd refers to the drying capacity of roller mill T/H

D refers to the diameter of grinder pan

Kd is coefficient, which is relevant to the moisture of raw material, the hot blast rate and the hot blaste temperature.

Reference: TRM roller mill is Kd=10

So Gd=10×3.82.5=281.5t/h.
